Love to Run Coaching provide bespoke training programmes for runners of all abilities and all distances – from 5k to ultramarathons. Each one is built round the athlete’s individual goals, level of experience and lifestyle.
Our aim is to help you run better, longer and faster whatever your objectives, no matter what your ability.
Love to Run Coaching offers online and face-to-face coaching for runners of all abilities. Our training packages start from £35 and can include:

Love to Run Philosophy
To reach your running goals, it is important that your running has structure and specificity, but can still fit around your lifestyle. Here at Love to Run Coaching, we want our runners to train smart and to make progress, but also to increase their enjoyment by adding greater variety to their training. This holistic approach to running is at the heart of the Love to Run philosophy.
Dave has a degree in sports science and a background in teaching sports psychology. He was a Great Britain international orienteer at junior and senior level and has subsequently raced on the roads, cross country, trails and fells. Amongst his achievements have been podium finishes in some of the UK’s toughest ultra marathons and mountain marathons.
Ever since I started training, first for Orienteering up to a high Junior level, and in the last 3 years for fell running, I seemed locked in a cycle of train-injury-train-injury.
Dave’s coaching has revolutionised how I train, allowing me to train consistently and with full confidence in what I am doing for the last year.
Dave has provided me with invaluable knowledge and guidance which has enabled me to step up from being a recreational trail runner to being able to confidently take on an ultra-distance event.
Dave is an inspiring coach with so much experience to draw on. He gave me a structured programme which was really challenging but achievable amongst working and bringing up three young children. Dave helped me to really focus my training and make the most of the three training sessions I had available in a week.
